Books (Latest Read)

Riot: Innovative way of telling history to the readers. Shashi Tharoor put his/her best to explain about Indian politicians, IAS officer, SP, aam janta and so on so forth. A story about a young lady from US, who is working in a small town or northern India for her project. During hindu-muslim riots in 1989, one fine day she found dead in the outskirts of the town. How she dead is a story. A must read for serious reader.

One Night @ the Call Center: Nice story, little fictions. Story about six people working in the call center, their joys, sorrows, frustration at professional, personal life etc... One night they got a call from "God", and how things changed after this is interesting to read. Somehow you’ll relate the story of your own. You can read it as a extension or second part of “Five Point Someone”. Those who want to read books on self-help can also go for it. Rest is your own choice. Shyam (one of six people in the book) is after doing B.Tech as a Hari (in five point someone).

Five Point Someone: You'll re-live your four years of graduation..... simply great novel by Chetan Bhagat.

Ladies Coupe: Nice book by Anita Nair, about the life of women from different class. For guys it might be boring.

Movies

Crash: Last month I've couple of hindi, as well as english movies. Some of them were 36 China Town, Fanaa, Cellular, Crash, The DaVinci Code. But the movie which appealed me most was "Crash". The story of 4-5 people from different communities in America. Interesting to know the moments, sorrows, life they are living. The best part is how their live mingled with each other when they were going parallely. I would say worth/must see.

First 50 Dates: One of the cutest love story, ever seen. Guy henry (Adam Sandler) is in madly love with gal Lucy (Drew barrymore). He afraid of commitment up until he meets the beautiful Lucy. They hit it off and Henry think he's finally found the girl of his dreams, until he discovers she has short-term memory loss and forgets him the very next day. But even then he tries for her and tell everyday that how she is imortant in his life. Even suffereing the memory problem how Henry manages to get marry with her is great to see.
