"Jaamun King" Competetion

Hi All,
Team Bangalore,
as always was looking for something new, exciting to do on this weekend. An active member of Team Bangalore" Santosh Thapaliyal
sent a mail to the group on 24th March, 2006 saying that there is going to be "Jaamun King" sonpeteion, so why not we try
for that. As usual we started searching for more information for the same. Our major concerns were:
i) Registration for the event should be free
ii) It should not very from our home
iii) Rewards
And luckily all of the conditions were in our favour. It was hardly half km
from our home and the registration was absolutely free. And the rewards were great. Two days holiday package for two persons
to ooty for the winner.
We reached there on time, and the event started. Now the details of events are
below: I hope you'll enjoy reading it...
Our leaders Raju bhai, Ajji bhai were ready for the event. Alongwith them myself,
neeraj ji, and madhur were also ready to bang as much as possible jaamuns.
Now here starts first round:
First round: Group of 8 unknown people. One person ate 24 (max) in that group.
We said na........Our target was min. 50. It was not at all interesting
Now second round. We decided half of our Team Bangalore will participate in
this round and rest will be in last round.
Second Round: Again 8, but this time Myself, Raju was also there. Ajji bhai
started the timer for our personla use. Raju bhai and me targeted at least 50. Now here start the time. Raju bhai ate only
8 and withdrawn...Next to him I was eating as much as possible I can. After 1 min the count was 18 for me. Suddenly after
80 sec. ajji bhai shout only 40 sec remaining, and neeraj ji shouted eat two at a time. I started that. In between I felt
that whatever I ate will come out in between, but with friend's support with me I amanged and increased my speed and before
2 imns, my count was 41 and I withdrawn. Some seconds later the time was up. They started asking the counts for the participants.
The 5th guy ate 33 and they (their friend) were very happy that they won the event, but when the counter come to me,
he was far far behind. With this second round come to an end.
Now third round, our leader ajji bhai is still there, neeraj ji (who ate 20
roties in one time.), madhur sharma (big rice eater)......
Third Round: Time starts now, after five madhur, neeraj ji withdrwan and started
enjoying jaamuns.....they reached 12, 16 respectively I guess.....our main hero for this round was ajji bhai.....he was eating
like anything......count was increasing.....21, 22, 23, 24.......and suddenly 2 mins comes to an end, but till that time our
gr8 ajji bhai has already eaten 30 gulab jaamuns till that....
Till Now I hope who got frist, second, third prizes, but to complete the event
let's talk about prize ceremony:
They call second runner-up "Ajay Agarwal" and you know he got...guess.......champagne......
then first runner-up...he got some packed box...no idea wht was inside that.....
then winner......and I won two days holiday package for two to ooty.
with this event come to an end.... No need to say after the event I ate 6-7
hajmolas, pudin-hara, packets of eno......but now I am okay....with the wishes of friends.......and by God's grace.
